Koch: "The World Cup is a Huge Goal" — Frankfurt Captain Eyes Germany Recall
Dropped in November but dreaming of the World Cup — Koch is letting his club form do the talking.
Left out in November, but far from giving up — Robin Koch is making his case the only way he knows how.
Eintracht Frankfurt captain Robin Koch has been candid about his World Cup ambitions, admitting the tournament is "an absolute dream" he's working towards every week on the pitch.
"The World Cup is a huge goal," Koch told SID. "I can only make my case through my performances at Frankfurt. The national team coach knows what I can give."
With Germany facing Switzerland and Ghana in friendlies this month, a recall to the squad would be a timely boost for the defender — and a sign that Nagelsmann hasn't closed the door.
