Netherlands to Face Algeria in Rotterdam as Final World Cup Warm-Up
The Netherlands are locking in their World Cup prep — including a final send-off against Algeria before the journey to the US begins.
Van Dijk's side are piecing together their pre-tournament schedule — and it's taking shape nicely.
The Netherlands will play Algeria in Rotterdam on June 3rd as their farewell fixture before heading to the United States. The Dutch FA confirmed the friendly on Monday, with the Oranje expected to play at least one further warmup on US soil before their Group F opener against Japan in Dallas on June 14th.
Algeria, meanwhile, face a tough group of their own — drawn alongside Argentina, Austria, and Jordan. The Netherlands also have a North African challenge ahead in the group stage, with Tunisia set to face them in Kansas City on June 25th.
Before all that, the Dutch have two March friendlies lined up — Norway in Amsterdam and Ecuador in Eindhoven.
